POWERHOUSE RESTAURANT AND CAFÉ
In Chicago’s Fulton River District, on the ground floor of a historic electricity generating plant, once the sole power supply to the Chicago Northwestern Railway. K&A and Parachin Architects designed the 6,000 sq. ft. Powerhouse Restaurant and accompanying 3,000 sq. ft. Bar and Cafe.
Both spaces are served by roof mounted HVAC equipment providing individual zone heating and cooling. K&A also designed a new 1600A, 120/208V electrical service. Gas, water and waste utilities were also provided
