Klaucens & Associates, Inc. is providing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Medical Gases and Fire Protection Engineering Services for a new 64,000 sq. ft. addition to the current Acute Care/MOB Building.  This addition will include new linear accelerator, six new operating rooms and CT Scanner.

HVAC
Our design will merge new chiller/boiler plant and condenser water systems with new 350 ton chiller, four thousand MBH hot water boilers and two steam boilers 50 BHP each for process and humidification. Two new AHU’s, one dedicated for surgery and the other for support areas.

Electrical

New 800/1000 KW generator with 2000 amp paralleling gear to existing.

New 2,500 amp 277/480 volt service.

New critical, emergency and life safety systems as required throughout facility.

Engineer all new low voltage systems, nurse call, security, paging and tele/data systems.

Equipotential grounding for new operating rooms.

Entire facility will be placed on emergency power for 100% total back-up.

Plumbing/Medical Gases/Fire Protection

Engineer new incoming services dedicated for this addition.

Engineer new instantaneous domestic hot water system, integrating with existing.

Engineer new oxygen tank farm, new vacuum and air pumps with complete distribution

New 1500 gpm fire pump
