3rd and 4th Floor Addition

Project Description
Continuing a project that K&A designed several years ago, a new third and fourth floors will be placed on top of the existing 2nd floor operating rooms, approximately 16,000 square feet, consisting of new intensive care unit and a new labor delivering unit with c-section operating room, along with the remodeling of two existing operating rooms on 2nd floor.

HVAC

New 250 ton screw chiller and tower, 125 BHP steam boiler incorporated into existing plant.

Four new air handling units, three are dedicated to operating rooms, one for third floor.

New 30 ton air cooling chiller, delivering 38° F chilled water for all three operating rooms.

Plumbing, Medical Gases, & Fire Protection

Extending existing infrastructure from last addition up to support this project

Replacing gas fired tank and water heater with new steam feed insulated water heater for east facility

Electrical

Utilizing existing infrastructure from last addition, by K&A,. In anticipation for this project, K&A is extending current normal, emergency, critical and life safety systems for this project
