DESIGN APPROACH

Klaucens & Associates, Inc. takes a unique, three-step design approach to each and every project.

STEP NO. 1 - Understanding the Client’s Needs

Our office prefers to have communication directly with the client prior to proceeding with the project design. Whether this is in the form of a face-to-face meeting or via a series of intuitive questions, which let K&A know how the future owner and operator of the space wants their systems to perform.

STEP NO. 2 - Understanding the Site

Our office will visit the project site whenever possible to fully understand the challenges that each project may have and that cannot be fully described by way of “as-built” documentation. We will request that building engineering personnel be available for these visits to assist us in understanding the particular nuances of each individual building.

STEP NO. 3 - Project Coordination

Our office will work together with the architect, structural engineer, civil engineer, as well as the local authorities to try and address all coordination items prior to when formal construction documents are issued.

All of these steps help to save time during the design phase as well as cost during construction.
